The unemployment rate rose to 27.5% in the fourth quarter of 2013 from 27% the previous quarter and 26% the same period in 2012 (ELSTAT).
Corporate Impacts
- Eurobank: The Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF) siad that the process to return state-controlled Eurobank to the private sector appears set to be a long one after the bank yestreday postponed its decision to go ahead with a share capital increase upon the demand of its main shareholder.
