GREEK FINANCIAL MARKET
The General Index in Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) closed at 678.96 posting profits of 0.58%, in a turnover of €41.80mn. Attention will focus on the today΄s meeting between the Greek Prime Minister Mr. Samaras and the European Council President Mr. Van Rompuy.
The unemployment rate hit a record in June to 24.4% from 23.5% in May and 17.2% a year earlier (ELSTAT).

Corporate Impacts
- Cypriot Banks: The Russia’s foreign ministry said that a €5bn loan agreement with Cyprus has not yet been completed despite recent reports that a deal had been made. The required technical work on possibly granting the Republic of Cyprus state credit is ongoing between the two countries. This work, of course, takes time and is not complete.
