GREEK FINANCIAL MARKET
The General Index in Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) closed at 1,220.98 posting losses of 0.59%, in a turnover of €146.14mn.
The Prime Minister Mr. Antonis Samaras is due to meet today the European Commission President Mr. Jose Manuel Barroso in Brussels to talk about the Greek situation.
Greece scored 40 out of 100 points on the perception of corruption scale published by Berlin-based NGO Transparency International, showing that it has made some progress from last year when it scored 36 points.
- Hellenic Telecom: Moody’s upgraded its longterm rating to “B2″ from ” Caa1″, previously, with a stable outlook.
- NBG: Today the interested parties for Astir Palace will submit improved offers. HRADF and NBG have reportedly set a minimum level of €380mn for Astir. In other news, Fitch upgraded NBG’s program I mortgage covered bonds to B+ from B. The outlook is negative.
FTSE 25 December future:
- Support levels: 398-390-384. Resistance levels: 410-416-422.
- levels: 1,210-1,200-1,180. Resistance levels: 1,250-1,280-1,300.
